The client
iCalm Health is a New York-based CPG brand producing stress relief drinks founded in the beginning of 2024. Daniela, the company’s Co-founder, has been struggling with anxiety and stress for years. After noticing a decline in her health that was associated with the anti-anxiety medications she’s been taking, Daniela knew it was time for a change. Her sister, Michelle, supported Daniela through all her struggles. Together they wanted to create a natural, safe stress-relieving drink to help people feel at peace without making them dizzy or sleepy. So, the sisters decided to partner with a PhD and Doctor to formulate the most powerful, natural support for occasional stress and anxiousness. That’s how the iCalm Stress Relief Shot was born. Daniela and Michelle’s products can be found in many stores in New York, but they are most prominently available in Manhattan. Shots can also be ordered online on the iCalm Health website.
Have you ever tried getting your product in a retail store?
Getting your product in a few local stores is one thing, but how about targeting 200+ sales locations simultaneously? This is what iCalm Health’s team struggled with the most in its daily operations. Initially, they used Microsoft Excel and took notes on paper attempting to keep track of all important information. As a result, key data like store description, contact person to speak to, prospects, calls, and visits were frequently undocumented. This led to lost leads, missed follow-ups, and incomplete records of customer preferences which prevented the company from reaching its strategic goals — to expand into more stores and turn prospects into active, loyal clients.
Finding a product distribution solution to grow together
Optimizing the company’s data documentation and building stronger partnerships were two main aspects Daniela and Michelle wanted to focus on. For that, iCalm Health needed a tool to log sales visits, track customer interactions, optimize store visit routes, leave notes for extra personalized follow-ups, and map out the stores in their areas of interest. Also, it was crucial to find a solution providing both web and mobile access so that the team could capture new orders and send updates to the office on the go. In other words, iCalm Health was looking for a platform to consolidate every aspect of sales management in one place and finally make sales data accessible for the whole team. What’s tricky, they needed a software solution that would fit a small company even at the earliest development stage.
That’s where SimplyDepo stepped in
